Donations for Paul's House

Update on Donations for Paul’s House

Over the course of the last school year, the PVI Library was able to collect over 600 food and toiletry items from generous students and staff members.  Some of these items went to fill over 50 holiday baskets for veteran families at both Thanksgiving and Christmas. Paul’s House, located in Jonas at the site of the old Jonas Hotel, is a temporary sanctuary for homeless veterans operated by the Valor Clinic.

If you wish to donate, you may drop items off to the library at any time.  While pop-top cans of beef stew and other meals are the most in need, here are some other items in low supply at Paul’s House:  tuna pouches, V8 Splash cans, and peanut butter. Non-food items in need:  blue jeans, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, backpacks, gloves, and new socks. Cleaning items are also needed such as dish detergent, laundry soap, paper towels, and large trash bags.

Both Paul’s House and Valor Clinic can be found on Facebook for further information.

Thank you all for your generosity!  All donations are very much appreciated!
