Community Survey for Superintendent Search

The Pleasant Valley School Board has started a search for the next superintendent of schools. The anticipated timeline has an open application deadline of January 25, 2017. The board will then proceed through reviewing applications, background and reference checks and a series of interviews. The board anticipates a potential appointment in the Spring of 2017 but will take the time necessary to find the right candidate.

The Pleasant Valley School District Board of Directors invites your participation in the survey related to the superintendent search. The survey affords school community members the opportunity to provide input regarding the qualifications and experience they believe would be important in a new superintendent. The survey also allows respondents to provide their assessment of challenges, issues and needs in the district. Please take a few minutes to share your thoughts with us about this important position. The survey will be available until Tuesday, January 17, at 8:00 am. Thank you on behalf of the board for all submissions.
